Who is going to be the next Black Panther? That’s the question everyone has been asking since we learned about Chadwick Boseman’s tragic passing nearly two years ago.
After people mourned his death and reflected on the masterpieces he gave us, folks tried to figure out what was next. Specifically pertaining his central role as King T’Challa in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, people wanted to know if it could even be continued? Especially with the sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on the horizon.
There were suggestions that they could hire someone else to play his role, but a recast was shut down by director Ryan Coogler himself.
So that left us back at square one. And, really, we’re still there despite being just a few months away from the sequel hitting theaters. We do know, from the trailer, that there will be a new Black Panther.
But who will it be? We can only speculate. So that’s exactly what we’ll do here.
