The 65p cleaning tip that gets rid of yellow stains on pillows

Most people will have looked at their pillow while changing their bedding and been slightly put off by yellow staining. And many probably wonder how they even came to look like that.

Cleaning experts at Lifehacker have come to the rescue to explain why pillows end up yellow in the first place and what to do about it, reports the Mirror. The most common reason for the problem is sweat.

Like it or not, we all sweat during the night and it's bound to be worse at this time of year. Moisture makes it way through your pillowcase and causes the staining. But sweat isn't the only moisture you have to look out for, as yellowing can also be caused by wet or greasy hair.
