Arsenal may have had an impressive start to the new Premier League campaign, but that doesn't mean Mikel Arteta is completely satisfied with how his squad is looking.
The Gunners have won two in two following a £120million spending spree so far this summer and with just under three weeks remaining until the transfer window closes, further incomings have not been ruled out. "We’ve moved the squad a lot and we’re still willing to finalise the squad the way we want it," Arteta said on Friday. "We could add something great but there are a few players that we need to find the right game time for as well. At the moment, that’s going to be difficult."
At this stage, it's not known which exact positions the Spaniard and technical director Edu will strengthen if they do decide to dip into the market once again, although central midfield and wing are understood to be areas of interest. The wing, in particular, has appeared to be more of a priority after the club were unsuccessful in their pursuit of Raphinha and even saw bids rejected for the new Barcelona forward.
