Uniqlo’s USP is elevated everyday staples. Combining top-quality pieces with affordable prices, the Japanese label has gone from strength to strength under the creative direction of Clare Wright Keller (formerly Givenchy and Chloe).
A firm favourite for capsule wardrobe essentials, Uniqlo’s spring 2026 collection is a masterclass in minimalism. Think throw-on-and-go dresses, crisp linen separates and tailored outerwear.
Launched in 2023, the in-house Uniqlo C line is brimming with smart-casual silhouettes, while the Uniqlo U line reimagines everyday pieces with expensive detailing, from V-neck jumpers to button-down vests. Elsewhere, the label’s ongoing collaboration with JW Anderson leans into a preppy aesthetic, from boxy shirts to striped rugby tops.
Across each collection, the spring staples prioritise comfort and versatility. Whether you’re looking for a linen waistcoat and matching trousers, Bermuda shorts, camisole tops or on-trend cargo trousers, Uniqlo’s spring staples start from just £24.
Of all the wardrobe heroes in the collection, one piece stood out to me when browsing online: a red, linen-blend dress characterised by its tiered hemline and adjustable side ties. Reminiscent of Cos’s architectural signature pieces, the detail in the Uniqlo dress exceeds its £39 price tag. Here’s where to shop – plus my favourite pieces from the Uniqlo spring drop.

Uniqlo linen blend tiered dress

Made from a blend of cotton and linen, Uniqlo’s tiered dress is lightweight and floating, making it perfect for warm spring and summer days.
The tiered skirt creates movement, while the tie waistband can be adjusted to cinch in the silhouette; equally, it can be worn loose. The bows at each side add extra character.
It’s available in red, black or pale blue. And, what I really love is that the style is smart enough for the office but easily dressed down for the weekend. For less than £40, it will prop up your wardrobe this spring and beyond.
