ASB covers a wide range of offences, including covid breaches, criminal damage, causing intentional harassment, alarm, or distress, and drunk and disorderly.
The data submitted categorised anti-social behaviour under three categories; environmental, nuisance, and personal. South Wales Police noted that many of the ASB environmental occurrences were covid related offences.
The worst street in Cardiff for anti-social behaviour was Queen Street in the city centre, where a total of 226 complaints were made during the 12 month period. Out of these, 183 were categorised under 'nuisance.'

In June last year, a large gathering of over 100 people took over a car park at Newport Road Retail Park, with around 60-70 cars gathering near PC World, with witnesses reporting "cars revving up and down the road."
A multi-agency Problem Solving Group comprising of more than 30 organisations including Cardiff Council, South Wales Police, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and Cardiff Third Sector Council was launched to respond to issues with anti-social behaviour, vandalism, and criminal behaviour across the city.
The pilot project focused on areas in Llanrumney and Splott.
Many of the streets listed in the top 20 for anti-social behaviour complaints are busy main streets and shopping areas, city-centre locations with many pubs and nightclubs, or long main roads that are a number of miles long.
