It’s officially December which means two things: Christmas and Spotify Wrapped.

The streaming service’s hotly-anticipated feature dropped to its 381 million monthly users on Wednesday (December 1). While some furious users had a hard time loading their Wrapped playlist, others jumped straight on social media to share their year-in-review.

Spotify named Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny as the most-streamed global artist for the second year in a row – with more than 9.1 billion streams.

Olivia Rodrigo took the crown for the top streamed song of the year with her chart-topping hit, Drivers License. She also secured number one for the most-streamed album of the year with SOUR.

Naturally, top tier Spotify Wrapped memes started rolling out on Twitter – and let’s face it, the memes were much funnier than seeing everybody’s “Audio Aura.”

In a hilarious post, one user wrote: “To all the young people out there who haven’t gotten the Spotify Wrapped results they were hoping for, just remember that there’s no wrong path.

“I left school without a single Spotify Wrapped to my name and, hey, I seem to be doing okay.”

Others exposed their peculiar listening habits, including a piano rendition of Wii Sport – and who are we to judge?

Priorities got momentarily pushed to the side as the nation was fixated on the only thing that mattered.

Naturally, non-Spotify users felt excluded, which pushed Rylan Clark to ask whether he was weird.

Others found fault with the 2006 ‘Paint’ graphics.

While one mocked the influx of ads for non-paying streamers.
