But Scots dog owners are being warned to take caution when feeding their pets festive treats from the dinner table.
While some people may feel their pooch should be allowed a nibble of Christmas dinner this year, animals experts that certain festive foods should never be given to dogs, as doing so could result in "deadly" consequences.
