Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has once again addressed his future amid links over a move to Liverpool.
The Poland international has requested to leave Bayern this summer after spending eight years with the Bundesliga giants. During that time he has scored 343 goals in all competitions and won the league in every season since his arrival.
However, Munich director of football Hasan Salihamidzic confirmed last month that Lewandowski has submitted a transfer request. Barcelona have been heavily tipped to sign the 33-year-old, despite their financial problems, but Liverpool have also been credited with an interest.

A report from Spain claimed that Lewandowski was a 'priority' for Reds boss Jurgen Klopp , who previously managed the prolific forward when he was in charge of Borussia Dortmund. While another recent report, from Poland, suggested the two-time European Golden Shoe winner will complete a transfer to Barcelona.
On Monday, Lewandowski publicly stated his desire to leave Bayern. Then on Tuesday, he went into more detail.
"I respect Bayern and their rules. But change, especially after such a period, is part of life,” Lewandowski told Bild. “I hope it doesn't seem selfish. I have a contract, but I tried to be clear towards the club about how I feel.
“I have informed the club and said publicly that I have made the decision not to renew my contract with Bayern. So let's not talk about my future at Bayern. I want a new challenge in another team. That's my wish".
When asked if his wishes are selfish, Lewandowski issued a defiant response.
"No, I'm not,” he said. "I know what I have at Bayern and I appreciate it a lot. I also know that I've done my best not to disappoint the club and the fans over the last eight years. After eight years, I feel that it is time to move on to a new stage".
Lewandowski added: "I said from the start that we should look for a solution that would be good for both parties... Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world, a dream club for many players.
“I think that it's better for Bayern to invest the money they can get from me than to keep me until the end of my contract. I don't want to force anything. I want to find the best solution for both parties. Departures are part of football. If I feel like I need a change, it's fair to say so.
“Bayern and I are not enemies. I want to speak calmly, not by the media. I know that a conflict makes a lot of headlines. I wish Bayern the best and I have no doubt that the board of directors feel the same. That's why I remain convinced that we will find an agreement together".
