Jamie Carragher says Ralf Rangnick working at Manchester United part-time while in charge of the Austria men's national team is "just nonsense."
Rangnick will move into a consultancy role at the club at the end of the season when his position as an interim manager comes to an end. New manager Erik ten Hag will take charge of the team at Old Trafford this summer, after committing to a three-year contract until June 2025.
After it was made official that Rangnick would also be in charge of Austria's national team on a full-time basis, Carragher insisted the club should not have allowed that to happen. "I’ll be honest with you I just don’t get that," he said on Sky Sports.
