Thailand's largest gourmet festival returns

Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel has announced the full chef line-up for the 26th World Gourmet Festival, which will take place from Sept 29 to Oct 4.

Under this year’s theme, “The World Of Flavours", the festival brings together a collective of chefs with Michelin-starred restaurants, internationally acclaimed culinary leaders and emerging talents. Across six days, guests will experience a curated programme of chef-hosted dinners, one-night-only collaborations and immersive dining journeys that celebrate the creativity, diversity and craftsmanship of global cuisine.

The overseas chef line-up:

• Chef Julien Royer: Chef-patron of the three Michelin-starred Odette in Singapore, chef Royer is regarded as one of Asia's leading culinary figures.

• Chef Josiah Citrin: Chef-patron of the two Michelin-starred Mélisse in California, chef Citrin has spent more than three decades shaping contemporary American fine dining.

• Chef Dave Pynt: Chef-owner of the Michelin-starred Burnt Ends in Singapore, chef Pynt is internationally acclaimed for redefining modern wood-fired cooking.

• Chef Georgiana Viou: Chef Viou is from Benin and became the first African female chef in France to be awarded a Michelin star in 2023.

• Chef Álvaro Clavijo: Chef-patron of the highly-acclaimed El Chato in Bogotá, Chef Clavijo is recognised as one of Latin America's most influential chefs.

• Chef Vuong Thanh Vo: Head chef of CoCo Dining in Ho Chi Minh City, Chef Vo presents a thoughtful and modern interpretation of Vietnamese cuisine.

• Chef Paul Gamauf: Executive chef of Edvard at Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna, chef Gamauf is recognised for his refined, sustainable approach to modern European cuisine.

• Chef Heros De Agostinis: Executive chef at Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome, he is the creative force behind Ineo, which was awarded a Michelin star.

• Chef Zee Yunze Zheng: Head chef at the Michelin-starred Fabula Shanghai, chef Zheng is acclaimed for his sophisticated mastery of modern gastronomy.

• Chef Eunjung Cho: Founder and pastry chef of Honeybee Seoul, chef Cho is renowned for her refined approach to contemporary desserts.

Local chefs line-up:

• Chef Arnaud Dunand: Chef-patron of Maison Dunand, chef Dunand is celebrated for his elegant interpretation of contemporary French cuisine.

• Chefs Dylan Jones and Duangporn "Bo" Songvisava: Chefs-patrons of Bo.Lan, Jones and Bo are internationally recognised for championing sustainable Thai cuisine, local sourcing and regional flavours.

• Chef Christian Martena: Chef Martena's cuisine reflects a modern European philosophy, balancing technical excellence with bold flavours and beautifully presented dishes at Clara.

• Chef Tamaki Kobayashi: The head chef of the two Michelin-starred Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie is known for her meticulous Japanese craftsmanship.

• Chef Alessandro Frau: Chef Frau of Acqua Restaurant brings a fresh, contemporary perspective to Italian gastronomy.

• Chef Antoine Darquin: With a passion for refined French cuisine, chef Darquin is recognised for his produce-led cooking at Bisou Bangkok.

• Chef Ferran Tadeo: Celebrated for his inventive Spanish cuisine, chef Tadeo now heads Quilombo.

• Chef Giacomo Primante: Head chef of Etcha, recognised for his refined modern cuisine.

• Chef Clément Niel: Chef Niel is a French artisan chocolatier and pastry chef from Lyon, France. He is the founder of Clement Niel Chocolatier Bangkok, a luxury boutique specialising in handcrafted chocolates, bonbons and bespoke chocolate sculptures.

• Chef Dimitrios Moudios: Head chef of the now closed Ore, chef Moudios draws inspiration from the Mediterranean.

The festival will also feature collaborative experiences with the talented culinary team of Anantara Siam Bangkok. From intimate chef's experiences and exclusive tasting menus to collaborative dinners and signature culinary showcases, each event offers guests the rare opportunity to experience some of the world's most celebrated chefs in one destination.

Now in its 26th edition, World Gourmet Festival continues to bring together the world's most exciting culinary talents in Bangkok, creating an inspiring platform for cultural exchange, creativity and unforgettable dining experiences.
