Tributes have poured in from Thailand’s entertainment and travel communities following the passing of Ray MacDonald on Wednesday at the age of 49.
Best known as an actor and host, he was also widely credited by travel content creators as one of the country’s original backpacker-style presenters.
MacDonald’s wife Sarinya Jintanawararak called police after finding her husband unresponsive at 6.20am on the sofa of their home in the Phatthanakan area of Bangkok, according to local media reports.
