- Transport for London ( TfL ) has said that adult single bus and tram fares will rise by 10p to £1.85 from November.
- The company said in an email to travellers that the revised price includes the ‘Hopper fare’, which allows customers to pay a single fare for unlimited journeys within one hour on the city’s buses and trams.
- Meanwhile, fares for those with eligible concession cards will rise by 5p, with the price increases set to come into force from 1 November.
- According to TfL, the price caps for rail, tube and Travelcards will stay frozen until March of next year.
- It said the 10p increase will mean bus and tram fares are 35p higher than they were a decade ago.
