As anyone with a functioning brain cell could have predicted, Donald Trump’s decision to free hundreds of violent Jan. 6 rioters blew up in his face. What did he think would happen if you let a give these lunatics a pat on the head for giving in to their worst and most violent impulses?
Since Trump flung open the prison gates, an unusually large number of the people he set free have since been charged with sexual crimes involving children. So it’s with the slimmest of silver linings that we can report that the latest Jan. 6 rioter still presenting a danger to the public is only threatening… adults! Yay!
