During a recent encounter in a House office building, Texas Democratic Congressman Vicente Gonzalez was asked about Vice President Kamala Harris's performance as the 'border czar' overseeing President Biden's immigration agenda. When questioned about whether Harris did a good job in that role, Gonzalez initially seemed uncertain about the title itself, asking, 'I don't know that she was a border czar, was she a border czar?'
Pressed further on the matter, Gonzalez was reminded that Harris had been referred to as a border czar in the past and was asked once again if he believed she had done a good job. In response, Gonzalez simply stated, 'You should know that,' before walking away.
