Texas A&M defensive lineman ejected for punching an Ole Miss offensive lineman in the groin

If you’re looking for the most embarrassing ejection of the day, look no further than the Texas A&M – Ole Miss game.

While the Aggies were playing in Oxford, defensive lineman Shemar Turner got tangled up with Ole Miss offensive lineman Micah Pettus and didn’t express his frustration of the encounter in the right way … at all.

Turner’s head got caught underneath Pettus’ legs for a brief moment, which caused Turner to give Pettus a swift punch in the groin.

The defensive lineman was understandably ejected from the contest, which just does not help when you’re playing a quality opponent like Ole Miss on the road.

Punching someone below the belt is just never an acceptable way to react, even in such an awkward encounter like the two lineman had.

For Texas A&M, you’ve got to, at the very least, not have your players punch other players in the groin. That’s an easy thing to do to avoid ejections.

If you’re Jimbo Fisher, you’re likely banging your head on the clipboard for how stupid this sequence of events ended for your team.
