The Texans also worked out defensive tackle Bruce Hector, who has been with six NFL organizations since 2018 either on active or offseason rosters. Hector recently was with the New York Jets through training camp.

Houston brought in former Alabama linebacker Terrell Lewis. A former Los Angeles Rams 2020 third-round pick, Lewis also spent time with the Chicago Bears in 2022.

The Texans worked out former Arkansas-Pine Bluff tackle Mark Evans, who spent time with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent.

Another offensive lineman the Texans worked out was Jamarco Jones, a former Seattle Seahawks 2018 fifth-round pick. Jones also spent the 2022 season with the Tennessee Titans.

Houston also worked out former Minnesota Vikings 2021 sixth-round defensive tackle Jaylen Twyman, who also spent part 2022-23 with the Miami Dolphins’ practice squad and offseason roster.
