Tesla's partially automated driving system named 'Autopilot' should not be known as such because the cars that operate use it cannot drive themselves, the top US transportation official says.
Pete Buttigieg, head of the United States Department of Transportation, has expressed concern over Tesla's marketing of its partially automated driving system as 'Autopilot.'
Mr Buttigieg emphasised that the cars cannot drive themselves and the system's name can be misleading.
