Tesco website and app back up as issue preventing customers logging in resolved

Tesco's website and app went down this evening leaving thousands of customers unable to log in to make or change food orders.

According to Downdetector, almost 2,000 shoppers reported problems on Wednesday.

When customers tried to log in on the website, they received an error message which said: "It's not you, it's us.
