Tesco has slashed the price of more than 500 products, in a boost for shoppers during the cost of living crisis.
The supermarket said the new price drop focuses on products “that are bought week-in, week-out” as well as summer favourites.
Prices have been cut by an average of 13%.
This includes another 5p price off the price of pasta and another 10p off milk - the second reductions of both everyday products in recent weeks.
Tesco said shoppers will now pay 20p less for a 500g pack than they would have in May, and 20p less for a four-pint bottle of milk compared to April.
Some examples of the price reductions include:
Tesco Tinned Tuna (145g)– down 10p to 80p
3 pack of Peppers – down 15p to £1.65

Tesco Chief Product Officer, Ashwin Prasad, said: “We know that more than ever our customers are looking for great value, and this huge round of price cuts on 500 key household essentials will help their budgets go a little further.
“With price cuts on products like grapes, peppers, rice and tuna, customers will find it’s even cheaper to eat healthily with Tesco this summer.
“And we’ll continue to work closely with our suppliers to pass on price cuts to our customers whenever we can.”
Tesco has also confirmed its Kids Eat Free scheme will run again this summer.
This offer means shoppers get a free children’s meal when a paying adult uses their Clubcard and spends as little as 60p in Tesco cafes.
The deal is available in 310 Tesco cafes across the UK from July 24 to September 1 in England and Wales, from July 3 to September 1 in Northern Ireland and from July 3 to August 11 in Scotland.
