Edinburgh is in for yet another day of cold weather with the Met Office showing highs of just 1C and low of -2C for the capital for Monday (January 16).
With it getting colder outside, many people are looking at ways to keep their homes, and themselves, warm. And with experts urging households to heat the person instead of heating the home, people are doing exactly that as they take to online shops to see what they can find.

Not only are items such as these a good one to get your hands on but Argos shoppers have been hailing the retailer's so-called 'max drying power' airer, as some have said in reviews.

But as well as these and the all important electric blanket, people are being told to keep an eye out for Silent Night's self-heating mattress topper which is being sold in Tesco. If you don't want to or cannot go down the electric blanket route the "magic" item could be a great addition, reports the Daily Record.
The Silent Night Heat Genie Mattress Topper has several stand out feature including a unique heat reflecting foil combined, with a thermal lining as well as a deeply filled quilted top layer to add up to 7.5 tog of extra warmth to your bed.
