Tesco shoppers have been raving about a £5 meal found in store that they say is so delicious there's no need to fork out at an expensive restaurant.
Due to the cost of living crisis, many people are looking for ways to save money - especially over Christmas, which is already a very expensive time. Dining out at a fancy restaurant may be on the cards for you this festive season, but it's likely you'll be faced with a massive bill at the end.
Thankfully, the supermarket giant has came out with a delicious "gourmet" alternative offering that costs just £10 for two people - working out at £5 per person, Manchester Evening News reports.
Tesco is selling two packs of Finest sirloin steaks with a cheese fondue to dip it in, and shoppers are obsessed with it. The 624G packs of Tesco Finest Sirloin Steak & Cheese Fondue cost £13 each.
But shoppers can save money if they have a Clubcard, which is free to get, and brings the price down to £10.
It's a great alternative to dining out at an expensive restaurant, where steak and cheese fondue will typically cost around £60 for two people.
The bargain find was posted on the Facebook group Snack Reviews, where a picture of the product was shared alongside the caption: "Found in Tesco. £10 with Tesco clubcard."
The post soon became flooded with likes and comments, with many people eager to head to Tesco and try the meal out for themselves.
One person simply said: "Yes please", while another added: "Friday night sorted."

Meanwhile, Asda has also recently been wowing shoppers with "fakeaway" meals that costs just £2.50 for one person.
The Takeaway for One range typically contains two types of curry, rice and a side, with shoppers saying they were "lovely" and they'd definitely be buying again.
