Tesco stores across Nottinghamshire and the city centre are giving advance warning of opening times ahead of the August bank holiday weekend. The summer bank holiday falls on Monday, August 29, 2022. It's the last bank holiday in England and Wales until we reach the Christmas period.

It advises customers to check their individual stores for details. The retailer operates mixed store sizes across the city and county and therefore says it can't give a blanket answer when it comes to opening.
Tesco Superstores and Extra stores in Nottinghamshire include Top Valley, Carlton, Beeston, New Ollerton, Mansfield, Hucknall, it is understood that the majority of large stores will be open from 8am-6pm or 8am-8pm on Bank Holiday Monday, unless the store location has a restriction. As an example, while Tesco in Top Valley is open on Monday from 8.00am until 6.00pm, Carlton's Superstore will be closed on Monday.
