Supermarket giant Tesco has infuriated some shoppers with its £3.50 Jubilee decorations. Pictures surfaced of the decorations online, and were quickly met with a furious response.
In preparation for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Tesco is selling a whole range of homeware pieces. They start at £3.50 each, and include corgi glasses, oven gloves, cake stands and mugs. Basically everything you'd expect of an event celebrating the Royals in this country (I will never understand the obsession with tea towels).
However, the Jubilee range has gone down like a lead balloon with some shoppers, who have accused it of being 'wasteful' and 'tacky'. People took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains page to voice their opinions.

Carol Wang slated: "I wouldn't have them if they were free lol but I hope their a bargain for someone." Gabby Elizabeth said: "Why waste your money on this tat that's only relevant for 5 minutes?"
Marissa Sharpe commented: "Love how they’re all reduced to clear already." Mandy Causier slammed: "Give it a few month and it will be all in the charity shop for pennies." Gemma Ingleman wrote: "Feel like this is a waste of money personally."
Some people absolutely love the Jubilee-themed pieces, though. Heather Walker said: "Oh I better start shopping." Christine Brown Sidney said: "I will have to pop to tesco."
If you are into all that stuff, you can find Jubilee items in your local Tesco store now.
