Tesco will give some staff an extra day off in April as they announced the closure of its supermarket stores.
The retailer will not open its large supermarkets on Easter Sunday. However, the majority of Tesco Express stores will not close on Sunday, April 9.
Other UK supermarkets, including Morrisons, Asda, Sainsbury's and Aldi, will not open. Morrisons supermarkets will close in England and Wales on Sunday.

Asda is closing its stores on Easter Sunday and will be operating its normal hours on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8. Sainsbury's will close around 600 of its big stores in England and Wales and Aldi will shut 890 stores across England and Wales on Easter Sunday.
According to the Mirror, Tesco will operate normal trading hours on Good Friday. On Easter Monday, Tesco said its store opening hours would vary depending on location and store type.
