Tesco has made some changes customers will notice when packing up their shopping at the tills - and many aren't happy.
The retail giant has been slammed for increasing the prices of its plastic bags in the middle of a cost of living crisis. The bags have seen a 10p increase, going up from 20p per bag to 30p.
The price hike comes after the retailer said they wanted to deter customers from buying the carrier bags, encouraging them to bring their own instead. Supermarkets were ordered to charge 5p for the weaker single-use carriers in October 2015 - and last year the Government raised this levy to 10p.
