Tesco is known for the discounts you can get by using a Clubcard. Signs displayed on the shelves and also at the supermarket's website indicate the reductions that will be applied at the checkout - and you will also accumulate points to use against future shopping bills.
Clubcard perks mean many items will have two prices, one being the standard price and the other the lower amount which is accessible if you have a Clubcard. But many people may not realise there is also a Clubcard Plus. So what does that involve?
Clubcard Plus gives customers extra perks including 10 per cent off your groceries in-store and 10 per cent off of the F&F clothing line, which can both be applied twice a month. The Clubcard Plus costs £7.99 for a monthly subscription. You'll need to work out whether that subscription charge is worth it for the amount you typically spend in your local Tesco.

What is the difference between Tesco Clubcard and Tesco Clubcard Plus?
For one, a Tesco Clubcard is free whereas the Clubcard Plus has a payment attached to its subscription. The Clubcard allows you to access basic discounts in the supermarket so it remains free of charge to sign up for and is easily obtainable on the Tesco Groceries app.
The Clubcard Plus is a monthly subscription available to all Clubcard members, giving you additional benefits across the Tesco Group for only £7.99 each month. The Plus card is like an upgrade of privileges and perks to customers who are already Clubcard members.
However, you can only use the 10 per cent grocery discount on the Clubcard Plus on a basket value up to £200. This gives the customer a maximum discount of £20 depending on the value of their grocery shop.
Keep your supermarket receipts for a month or two and see if it's worth your while to get a 10 per cent discount on two of those checkout bills per month in return for a subscription payment of £7.99.
