This April will see Council Tax rates across the country rise by as much as 5% while the energy price cap increase will see energy bills go up by as much as 54% - an increase of as much as £693 to a new high of £1,971.
Meanwhile, National Insurance rates are increasing by 1.25% on April 6 despite the payment threshold being raised to £12,570.
