People have been trying to find ways to save as much money as they can with the cost of living crisis still ongoing.
However one shopper has hailed a 25p kitchen product that could slash their bills by hundreds.
The need for finding cheaper products comes as millions of people across the UK have noticed a change to their energy bills with many now cutting back to avoid even heftier sums.

But it now seems that one product is a hit with those who visit Tesco, Wilko as well as The Range.
Taking to Facebook's private group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one shopper shared with its 2.1 million members what they had found - and it could slash bills by hundreds of pounds - something that many shoppers are keen to get their hands on - especially during a cost of living crisis.
Taking to the group the member posted a picture of the Fairy Liquid bottle alongside the caption: "Fairy have brought out a new liquid that can be used in cool water to save people running the hot tap with the extreme energy prices …. I suppose every little helps.
The label can be seen on the 'Fairy Quick Wash Washing Up Liquid Wild Berry' reading: "New. Brilliant in cold. Save energy.”
The product description on Tesco's reads: "Fairy Platinum Quickwash Wild Berry washing up liquid helps you get out of the kitchen faster by offering you faster & effortless cleaning. Each Fairy drop quickly penetrates and weakens tough greasy residues on dishes, leaving impeccable results even against the toughest grease cleaning challenges."
And on its benefits they list the following:
- Fast cleaning: each drop quickly penetrates and weakens tough grease on dishes saving you time
- Effortless cleaning: no more overnight soaking and hard scrubbing, even on your greasiest pans
- Easy rinsing for faster results, leaving you with brilliantly clean dishes
- Irresistible scent: leaves your kitchen infused with an invigorating scent, while leaving dishes spotless clean
Discussing the product in the comments one said "I have this. It smells awesome. I bought it for the pure fact it was a Christmas scent haha."
Another added: "This would be great for me, the bloody boiler isn't working despite being serviced only 2 weeks ago, to say I'm furious is an understatement."
"This is a brilliant idea not just for money saving but what about if your boiler goes? You still need to wash up and cheaper than boiling the kettle twice just to rinse some dishes" wrote a third.
The non-Christmas scented version of the cold water washing up liquid can be purchased in Wilko stores for just 25p which can be bought here.
However if you want the Christmas scented version, you can purchase it from Tesco for £3 here and The Range for £2.99 here.
