- Supermarket supplier Greencore has issued a recall for five ready-made meals, salads and sauces sold at Marks & Spencer and Tesco over salmonella fears.
- The products all contain pistachio nuts, an ingredient which was contaminated with salmonella.
- Impacted items at M&S include the Super Nutty Wholefood, Nutrient Dense Nutty Super Wholefood and Fresh Collection Pistachio Pesto.
- Recalled products at Tesco comprise two Pinch items: the Pan Poppin’ Chicken Pasanda & Nutty Pilau Rice and the Bangin’ Butter Chicken & Nutty Pilau Rice.
- M&S said in a statement: “Please do not consume this product. Any customers in possession of these products can return it to their nearest store where a full refund will be given.”
