As well as looking out for air fryers deals - with Ninja being one of the most popular brands - people have been taking to social media to share bargains from shops such as B&M and Aldi.
Tesco is also another popular shop of choice with their sales having rocketed by 200 per cent year-on-year as customers look for energy efficient ways to cook healthy, great value meals.
Tesco’s £58 own-label Go Cook air fryers flew off the shelves fastest, with the Tower 4-Litre Digital air fryer, priced at £74, also proving popular.
To meet the unprecedented demand, Tesco has now secured even more air fryers from its suppliers with an extra 40,000 units set to hit Tesco’s shelves before Christmas.
Speaking about the demand for the latest kitchen gadget must-have, Tesco’s Home Electricals Category Manager, Noel Jackson, said: “We’ve been blown away by just how popular air fryers are proving with our customers – so much so that we’ve ordered even more of them to cope with demand in the run up to Christmas.
“With sales tripling since last year, our customers are increasingly looking for a healthy, efficient and quick way to cook their favourite meals with minimal fuss.”
