Terry Dubrow, known for his role on the reality show Botched, is endorsing the use of Ozempic for weight loss. In a recent interview with US Weekly, the 65-year-old plastic surgeon claimed that Tylenol, a widely used over-the-counter medication, is actually 'more dangerous' than Ozempic, an FDA-approved prescription drug used to treat type 2 diabetes.
Dubrow specifically pointed out that Tylenol has been associated with an epidemic of liver failure, cautioning against its excessive consumption. According to Mayo Clinic, taking too much acetaminophen (the active ingredient in Tylenol) can cause stomach irritation and liver damage. The FDA also highlights the risks of liver damage if the drug is taken in excess, urging consumers to follow dosage instructions provided by the manufacturer or their healthcare provider.
