Terry Crews has been confirmed to star in the upcoming film, The Killer's Game, directed by J.J. Perry. The movie has already completed filming and features a star-studded cast including Dave Bautista, Ben Kingsley, and Sofia Boutella.
In The Killer's Game, Crews will be taking on a role that was initially intended for Ice Cube. The film is based on Jay Bonansinga’s novel and follows the story of a veteran assassin portrayed by Bautista. The character, diagnosed with a terminal illness, decides to order a hit on himself to avoid prolonged suffering. However, he later discovers that the diagnosis was incorrect and must now defend himself against a group of former associates seeking to eliminate him.
The screenplay for The Killer's Game was written by Rand Ravich and James Coyne. The movie is produced by Andrew Lazar from Mad Chance, Steve Richards from Endurance Media, and Kia Jam. Dogbone Entertainment's Dave Bautista and Jonathan Meisner will serve as executive producers, along with Scott Lambert. Jake Katofsky and Vanessa Humphrey are on board as co-producers.
