'Terrifying': TV pilot 'tried to thwart' crash probe

Reality TV star Matt Wright displayed "premeditated behaviour" at the scene of a helicopter crash to avoid blame when his best mate lay dead metres away, a jury has heard.

Crown prosecutor Jason Gullaci SC told the Supreme Court in Darwin on Wednesday Wright intended to thwart crash investigators to avoid the "terrifying" prospect of serious charges against him.
