A sinister looking doll with bleeding eyes was found inside an abandoned Scots hospital once used to treat tuberculosis patients. East Fortune Hospital in East Lothian shut its doors to patients in 1997 and has remained an abandoned building ever since.
The inside of the derelict building has now been captured on camera by 26-year-old urban explorer Kyle Urbex. Eerie photographs show discarded beds inside the hospital, as the ceiling caves in above.
Among the mess is a blonde haired doll that has been drawn on so its eyes appear purple and bleeding. A patterned jumper, still on a coat hanger, can be seen on the ground among the debris while various pages from a magazine are scattered across one room with two chairs.
