Police have launched an investigation after a man was chased through Gorgie by a thug threatening to "stab him."
The 27-year-old victim was followed by another man with a weapon him while out on the busy road.

The incident took place on May 30 in Gorgie Road. It was later reported to police who are trying to establish the full circumstances behind the threats.
Locals told how the terrified young man was seen running through the busy street and desperately tried to take refuge in a shop and a bus with the thug in close pursuit.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating following a report that a 27-year-old man was subject to threats in the Gorgie Road area of Edinburgh shortly before 5pm on Tuesday, 30 May. Enquiries are ongoing.”
