Tension prevails at Gudikandula

Tension prevailed for some time at Gudikandula village in Toguta mandal in Siddipet district when some TRS workers stopped BJP MLA from Dubbak M. Raghunandan Rao from participating in some development activities including that of opening mini vegetable market.

According to sources, Mr. Raghuandan Rao went to Gudikandula village to inaugurate the vegetable market. Knowing this, a large number of TRS activists reached there and protested with placards demanding to reduce the petroleum prices and Centre must procure paddy from the State. There was some scuffle between TRS and BJP activists. Police reached there and pacified both groups.

Protesting over the failure of police for providing protection during the official programmes, Mr Raghunandan Rao held dharna at Mirdoddi police station.
