The Tennessee Titans (6-3) are just a few days away from their massive Thursday night showdown against the Green Bay Packers (4-6) inside the freezing confines known as Lambeau Field.
Yesterday, both teams released their initial injury report of the week due to the shortened schedule. This often leads to a longer list of names than usual considering each team releases them the day after their previous game.
However, yesterday’s injury update was massive even by those standards. Both the Titans and Packers each had an eye-popping 17 players listed on their initial reports.
There were a few who were essentially just given their usual veteran rest day, but the majority of players on there have some type of injury designation.
It should also be noted that the injury report for the Titans from yesterday and today were estimations since the team only held a walk-through. Wednesday will be the big one for Tennessee.
For the Titans, the obvious names to keep an eye on are the several defenders who were sidelined a week ago, including Jeffery Simmons, Amani Hooker, Kristian Fulton, and Bud Dupree.
The availability of Ben Jones and Randy Bullock are two other names that will bear watching over the next few days as both were amongst those that were listed as non-participants on Monday.
Now, the Tuesday injury reports for the Titans and Packers.
