Tennessee Titans’ biggest salary cap hits for the 2022 season

After wide receiver Julio Jones’ money officially comes off the books on Thursday, the Tennessee Titans have approximately $13.5 million in cap space, per Over the Cap.

Not only did the Titans release Jones, but the organization parted ways with cornerback Janoris Jenkins and left guard Rodger Saffold, to name a few.

The moves allowed Tennessee to keep key players such as outside linebacker Harold Landry and center Ben Jones, and trade for wide receiver Robert Woods and sign tight end Austin Hooper.

We recently looked at where the Titans’ dead money ranks among the other teams in the National Football League. After Jones’ release, Mike Vrabel’s ballclub has the 12th-lowest dead-cap number, coming in at $12.3 million, according to Over the Cap.

Now that all of the dust has settled from their offseason moves, here’s a look at the 15 players who account for the Titans’ biggest cap hits going into the 2022 season, per OTC.
