Most covid restrictions in the Canary Islands will be scrapped this week ahead of the schools' Easter break.
A number of rules are set to be axed, including limited capacities on both indoors and outdoor events. Theatres and cinemas will also be able to open at 100% capacity.
Rules on face masks and travel passports will still apply as they are national laws in use throughout Spain, Wales Online reports. However, the tourism industry is hopeful long-standing restrictions on nightclubs will be lifted with dancing finally given the go-ahead to resume.
