An EasyJet flight from the UK to Tenerife had to be diverted to a small island after a row between a 'drunk' couple. The flight from Manchester diverted to the island of Porto Santo.
Reports locally said the pilot made the decision and radioed ahead to police. It comes after he felt the couple were putting air safety at risk.
Manchester Evening News reports the couple were then removed from the plane. Officers from Portugal’s PSP force and immigration officials removed them before the flight continued its journey around an hour later.
