Chelsea look set for yet another busy summer transfer window as Todd Boehly aims to trim down Graham Potter's squad whilst adding key reinforcements in crucial areas of the team. The Blues have endured one of their worst Premier League campaigns in the club's history with Champions League qualification for next season looking highly unlikely.
The west Londoners have spent more money on new signings than any other Premier League club since Boehly's arrival at Stamford Bridge. This has left Potter with an inflated squad that is in dire need of overhauling in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea have been hampered by injuries this season with a number of key players missing a lot of fixtures which is one reason for their poor performance in the Premier League. N'Golo Kante is close to making a return to the team, whilst Reece James has suffered yet another injury setback after being withdrawn from England's squad during the international break.

Boehly will already be planning for a busy summer transfer window that could see as many as 10 players leave Stamford Bridge. The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Edouard Mendy, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic are all facing uncertain futures at Chelsea and could see the club receive a huge transfer windfall by selling them this summer.
The Blues would take a huge financial hit by selling Lukaku ahead of next season after he failed to impress following his £98million return to Stamford Bridge in 2021. Aubameyang was signed on deadline day last summer but is set to be moved on after a poor season under Graham Potter.
Mendy has been replaced by Kepa Arrizabalaga as the club's No.1 goalkeeper and could be sold this summer with talks over a new contract failing to prove successful. Ziyech was close to a move to Paris Saint-Germain in January but a deal collapsed late in the transfer window, with the Moroccan winger likely to leave ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
Talks with Mason Mount over a new contract have not been productive so far with Liverpool and Manchester United both linked with signing the Chelsea star. Ruben Loftus-Cheek attracted interest from Newcastle in January and could leave to play regular first-team football elsewhere.
Pulisic was linked with a move away from Chelsea last summer but ended up staying put despite interest from teams in Serie A. Other players that could leave include Baba Rahman, Malang Sarr and Tiemoue Bakayoko who have all spent the 2022/23 campaign out on loan.
According to CIES Football Observatory, the following players could see the Blues receive a combined figure of £182million to reinvest in Potter's squad.
- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - £5.2million
- Baba Rahman - £1.5million
- Ruben Loftus-Cheek - £13.2million
- Edouard Mendy - £22million
- Hakim Ziyech - £17.6million
- Christian Pulisic - £35.2million
- Mason Mount - £61.7million
- Romelu Lukaku - £17.6million
- Malang Sarr - £7million
- Tiemoue Bakayoko - £800k
