Ten cheap places you can fly to from Manchester Airport this Easter Bank Holiday for around £100 or less

As lovely as Manchester is, it's always good to get away every now and then. And a holiday feels even better when you don't have to use up your annual leave for it.

In just a few weeks' time, Brits will be able to enjoy a long weekend with Easter Bank Holiday. And, seeing as we can't always rely on the sunshine to make an appearance in Greater Manchester, we've taken a look at where you can head abroad on the cheap instead.

We scoured SkySkanner and individual budget airline websites - Ryanair, easyJet, and Jet2 - to find the best deals on offer for flights from Manchester Airport for the four-day break. Usually, prices are a lot more expensive during a school holiday or Bank Holiday, but there are still some good prices available.

The vibrant city centre is set on an island, surrounded by the River Lee. It's made up of a busy network of 17th-century alleys, housing the opera house, pubs, bars, cafes, and shops.

Dublin

From medieval masterpieces to 20th-century gems, covered arcades to incredible views, there is something for everyone in the Belgian capital. Home to arguably the best chocolate and beer, Brussels also boasts a thriving arts scene, with Art Deco jazz bars, colourful comic-strip street art, and galleries.

Just a short train from Brussels is Bruges - the romantic fairytale town lined with canals, where you can travel through the cobbled streets by horse and carriage.

Pisa

Pisa is another destination that is well known by tourists, with a visit to the famous Leaning Tower on a lot of people's must-do lists. After taking a snap alongside it, you can climb it for impressive views across the city.

But the vibrant college town has a lot more to offer than this iconic landmark. The Piazza dei Miracoli, one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, is also home to the Duomo of Santa Maria Assunta cathedral - a perfect example of Roman-Pisan gothic architecture, made of white marble.

You can take a leisurely stroll along the Arno River - where you will come across the Santa Maria della Spina, an amazing gothic church, and where you can sample some of the town's artisan gelato.

Brindisi

Brindisi's port served the ancient Romans when they traded across the Adriatic Sea - it was their gateway to the Middle East. Today, the beautiful Italian marina is used for yachting and tourism, hosting various water sports events.

The capital of both the Mazovia province and of Poland itself, this is a truly extraordinary city. Situated right in the heart of Europe, Warsaw is a major economic, academic, cultural, and tourist hub with an array of historical sites and tourist attractions.

While it's known as the 'Granite City', Aberdeen is surprisingly nature-heavy. Set on the stunning Scottish coastline, its famous grey buildings have lengths of sandy beaches at their feet. Head in the other direction and you’ll find Dunnottar Castle, one of the most breathtaking sights in the region, thanks to its incredible clifftop location with the blue sea behind and green grass all around.

You can step back in time in Aberdeen's old town as you visit the cobbled roads and historic buildings in Old Aberdeen, or stay in the heart of a bustling city with a vibrant foodie scene - including big names like Mackie's and BrewDog.
