Tempur-Pedic is a renowned mattress brand known for its excellent pressure relieving foam, originally designed by NASA. The Tempur-Adapt is an all-foam mattress with a medium-firm feel — this means it’s an excellent choice for back sleepers. It also has a cooling cover, so hot sleepers are likely to feel comfortable year round.
The Tom’s Guide Sleep Team put this mattress to the test, both sleeping on it at home and examining its performance in our Sleep Lab. This mattress was tested using our older methodology, so we will update this review after we’ve assessed the Tempur-Adapt using our new method which we use to determine the best mattresses of 2026.
