Telstra to cut nearly 500 jobs in bid to streamline

Telstra is cutting nearly 500 roles as the telecommunications company works to streamline operations under new CEO Vicki Brady.

The changes will involve a net reduction of around 472 jobs, a spokesman told AAP on Thursday.
