Rising numbers of homeowners in the UK are advertising their spare bedrooms online as a way of supplementing rising living costs.
Homeowners advertising empty bedrooms on the website SpareRoom in January jumped to the highest levels since summer 2020, according to Bloomberg.
We would like to speak to lodgers in the UK about their living arrangements. How have you found the experience? How does it differ from traditional renting? What is living with your landlord like? Have you had any difficulties? How secure does your housing situation feel?
We would also like to speak to homeowners who are renting out their spare room to a lodger about their reasons for doing so and about their experience.
