Foreign owner apologises for Optus triple-zero failures

The Singaporean parent company of Optus is "deeply sorry" for the fatal triple-zero outage, but has deflected questions on foreign ownership of critical infrastructure.

Appearing at a parliamentary inquiry in Canberra into the outage, Singtel board director Gail Kelly apologised for the "tragic" failure.
