HYDERABAD: Scores of speakers who spoke at the meeting organised on Sunday by Viswanatha Sahitya Peetham to thank and felicitate Justice P Naveen Rao for taking an initiative to deliver a judgment in Telugu, the first ever such judgment to be delivered by a high court, were unanimous in their praise for the judge and said that he proved wrong the widely prevalent belief that a judgment at the high court in Telugu is impossible.
Authorities have always been saying that since the legal vocabulary is not available in Telugu and the existing software too does not support such efforts, it is impossible to pronounce orders in Telugu.
