Two residents at a care centre for young people were talked down from the building’s roof last night.
The teenagers from Kibble, in Goudie Street in Paisley, climbed onto the roof of the building around 8.20pm, prompting staff to call for assistance from the police, fire brigade and ambulance service.
Eye witnesses reported a siege-like emergency services response, with one saying the unit was evacuated as a result of the incident.
