Four teenagers are being sought in connection with an incident on Saturday which saw a car crash in a Renfrewshire residential area before being set alight.
It is alleged two males and two females, between the ages of 15 and 19, were seen running from the scene after a red Citroen C2 collided with a lamppost before being torched.
The incident happened on Stirling Drive in Linwood around 10.25pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.25pm on Saturday, November, 5, police were called to the Stirling Drive area of Linwood, following a report of a red Citroen C2 crashing into a lamppost, before being set alight.
“Enquiries have established that two males and two females – aged between 15 and 19 – were seen running from the scene, in the direction of the nearby cycle path.
“The investigation into the incident remains ongoing and anyone with information, or who believes they saw the vehicle or its occupants in the area, should call police on 101, quoting incident 4489 of 5 November, 2022.”
