Teenager who had 'so much to look forward to' killed in A55 crash as family pay moving tribute

Tributes have been paid to an 'extremely kind, generous and energetic' teenager killed in a crash in north Wales. Robert Christopher Adams, 19, from Kinmel Bay, died when the Vauxhall Astra he was driving collided with a Volvo HGV.

The incident happened on the A55 near Conwy at around 1.35am on Sunday (May 9) The eastbound carriageway was shut following the crash for around nine hours, with a 40-mile diversion put in place, NorthWalesLive reports.

On Monday Mr Adams' devastated family released a moving tribute to the teenager via North Wales Police describing him as "a handsome young man who had so much to look forward to". It said: "Robert was the son of Lorraine and Rickie. He had four sisters and one brother who he sadly leaves behind.
